Conceptual Pegs

This revelationary work explores the relationship between clothes and pegs. With influences as diverse as washing and string, new insights are distilled from both opaque and transparent meanings.

Ever since I was young I have been fascinated by the theoretical limits of washing. What starts out as a triumph soon becomes corrupted into a manifesto of futility by temperature miscalculations and colour mismatching - leaving only a sense of dread & the dawn of a new undefined. This work aims to provide the viewer with a statement of the limits of our existence within the 'pegs' of our culture.....but you knew that, because that's like totes obvs
